Torque Wrenches: King Tony or Teng

Postby Sick Puppy » Tue Dec 12, 2017 3:08 am

Hi everyone, I'm in Oz but will be in NZ soon. I am quite drunk right now lol

I want to buy a torque wrench. Probably a 3/8. I'm drunk, so don't really know for sure!

Seriously, I know I will need more than one of these, question is, are the Teng or king tony ones any good, which brand should I go for please, and how much am I looking at? Will be grabbing in next week.

Thanks in advance!

I have a Teng Tools 3/8th. It works really well for most stuff except really small and really big. 19-110Nm
King Tony tools are good but I've not used one of their torque wrenches.

As long as they can be calibrated, and are repairable, either will be fine. Teng seems pretty nicely made, not use King Tony stuff myself though.
