MRP 7a (aka 9age) Stroker Kit

After huge request we have designed a 7age/9age stroker kit (1900cc).
This will not be your generic stroker kit with bad rod/stroke ratios or some random crankshaft with no thought put into the design. Huge amount of thought went into the design of this kit.
We are not a generic rod/crank supplier, we specialise in 4age performance and focus solely on making the best parts for your 4age.

The pistons in this kit are a special custom design where we worked with CP to get what we needed.
Rod/stroke ratio is 1.52:1

Custom MRP 90mm Billet 4340 Crank based on the TRD/Atlantic Crank Design
Large counter weights to dampen harmonics at high RPM
Extra large section through rod journal to counter weight for increased strength and reduced flex in one of the most critical areas of load
8 Bolt to take 4age flywheels
OEM 4age journal sizes so you can use the OEM 4age size bearings
Oil gallery holes have lead in/outs to help increase oil flow to the bearings.
Oil gallery feeds are the same as the 4age crank meaning constant 360 degree of oil supply to the journals at all times unlike the 7afe crank.
Dual offset crank sprocket keyway which corrects the issue with timing on 7age conversions (No offset cut sprocket is needed)
Nitrided, Fully balanced & Polished Counter Weights

Custom MRP Forged Pistons by CP
Low compression height, 20v & 16v available in both N/A (242g) & Turbo (262g) to any compression you require.
Rings & gudgens supplied (80g N/A, 90g Turbo)
Special short skirt design to reduce friction on the bores
Ceramic coating on the domes to reduce heat to the pistons and keep the heat in the chamber
Telfon coated skirts to reduce friction and also provides a dry film lubrication

Notes
Must be used with a 7age block
Crank ladders, BHJ race Harmonic pulley and cams gears are optional extra.

MRP 4age (aka 5age) Stroker Kit

This will not be your generic stroker kit with bad rod/stroke ratios or some random crankshaft with no thought put into the design. Huge amount of thought went into the design of this kit.
We are not a generic rod/crank supplier, we specialise in 4age performance and focus solely on making the best parts for your 4age.

The pistons in this kit are a special custom design where we worked with CP to get what we needed.
Rod/stroke ratio is 1.51:1.

Most kits on the market use the OEM 4age piston design with shorter rods or 4age rods with a custom piston. Both designs are under the ideal 1.5:1 rod/stroke ratio in the engine building world. We are not saying it doesn't work as it clearly does but it puts more stress on the rotating components.

Custom MRP Billet 4340 conrods with ARP 2000 bolts
Around 3% longer than the 4a rods
H-beam (470g with bolts)
20mm Gudgen pin hole
Rods are notched on the journals which acts as an oil squirter up into the bottom of the piston
ARP 2000 Rod Bolts
Nitrided & Fully balanced
**Optional Saenz Conrods available for those seeking super high end rods. These are 20g lighter than our MRP rods - Saenz are one of the best in the world** +$850

83mm = 1796cc
82mm = 1753cc
81.5mm = 1732cc
81mm = 1711cc

Power rating of the kit 800hp+ & 10,000rpm+

Notes
Must be used with a 4age block
Modification of block needed for extra stroke to clear
Crank ladders, BHJ race Harmonic pulley and cams gears are optional extra.

Ha ha Baz I've been flicking thru some of the Toymods posts re the (not so nice) spool kit. I was going to hit you up about your thoughts on a better kit so put me down as "pretty keen" ( my bank loves me 8) )

Come on NZers. Australia is out doing us!

We have enough people in the buy now, so we are planning production of the parts. Pending Piston design.

Mate I'm glad you've been able to include the OZ guys in on this most awesome of group buys. I think you would have been hard pressed to get this off the ground relying solely on the NZ market (plenty of interest and support, not enough bank at the moment)

I look forward to giving you $$$ in exchange for epic shiny sh!t 8)

81.5 is what I run,
I think much more and you can run into problems with the bore wall strength.

we are putting a new crank in mine this week,
but probably dont want to go 1900cc yet.

All the bits are pretty much done now just waiting on shipping!

Here is the crank, designed by us. Its a TRD Atlantic style design with large counter weights for high RPM.

Little bit of an update on these kits:

We have done over 20 of these kits worldwide now, the guys who have them running are VERY pleased with the results.
More power scross the entire rev range and they are able to rev it more than they thought!

I recent customer in Australia running a SS2000 type corolla AE82 went 1.5s a lap faster around one of the circuits just from the bottom end change from 1600cc. He noted much more pull out of the corners and of course better out right straight line speed.
But his C52 gave up at the end of the day and he will need straight cut gears most likely.
He is using 8500rpm at present but is waiting on one of our special CNC heads and large cams which should allow him 9000rpm+ and much more power.
