Well finally got the crank pulley (175mm) off the GZE much to my relief and replaced it with a blue top one, bolted the alternator and mount (blue top again) on to where the supercharger used to sit, power steering mounted on the front (yet more blue top parts!) and looking at it have no way to tension either of the belts.
The alternator can pivot on the bottom mount but the factory blue top adjusting bracket won't bold onto the block anywhere that I can see. Is it a case of having to make a braket up to suit?
The air con has been dispatched with so the other belt (crank and p/steer) needs an additional tensioner I expect... anything that I can rob off a 4A-GE to do this that will bolt on?

Will either need to unbolt top bolt for power steering pump and loosen bottom one to get a belt on. Used a 4pk890 on mine (did the same thing, removed aircon ae92) as they didnt have 5pk890. then tighten it back up. Would be best to measure the length of the belt needed for exact details. At least that way you could use the power steering pump to tension the belt and not have to make up any new brackets.
Havent had to do the alternator side as mine was a 4age. But normally the alternator is what adjusts tension on the 4age.
Good luck man

you need to change the small water housing on the back with an n/a one. This has two bolt holes so you can bolt up the (4age) swivel bracket for the alt. You will need to change the coolant pipe also that bolts up to it, as the gze one is also differant. You will have to make up a little bracket for the dipstick also as the mounting point differs from gze - ge water housing.
I used a ae92 p/s pump on a 4age bracket and removed the underside bolt so it can swivel. I then made up a swivel bracket mounted to the block so I could adjust the belt properly (as pic).

im just awesome

its not the water pump housing you need.
Its the water rail that goes along the back of the head, that water rail is connected to that housing with 2 bolts that bolt to the back of the head where the alternator is. That housing has the water temp sensor for your gauge. and also on that housing this bracket bolts to it and hangs out giving you your alternator tensioner.
