AE86 sway bars?

The rear sway bar on my AE85 measures 14.0mm in dia

The rear sway bar on my DX race car measures 16.8mm in dia,

and looks to be the same shape and mounting etc.

Q. Is the standard AE86 rear sway bar 16.8mm?

If it is not then what is the standard AE86 dia?

If so, then what is there available that is bigger/stiffer for the rear?

Looks as though there is a Whiteline 18mm adjustable one?

Anyone tried these? or have one that I can try or buy?

86 one is thicker than 85.
cutting the ends and doubling up does work but naturally somewhat limited in adjustment.

I would have guessed that,
but is 16.8mm the standard AE86 one?

just need someone with an AE86 and a pair of calipers....................

Not to hard to measure,
I measued my AE85 one in place without jacking the car up.

Standard AE86 is 16mm

Swaybar is the same on GT Apex models (Notch & Hatch) & Also on the GT Notch.
GTV Hatch is different, but I'm not sure what the diference is exactly

Also TRD Rear swaybay is 16mm, of solid construction, (not hollow) & is 70% stiffer than original item.

Cusco Rear Swaybar is 20mm diameter
