Recommendations: Alarm, Stereo + Installer AKL

Hey folks,
My new Gaia only came with one central-locking key and it's driving me nuts.
I've decided the smart fix is to get an alarm/immob and deal to it that way.

Previously i've used Dynatron (D7600) and i'm leaning toward the same again - however it seems that little has changed in 6-7 years since I got my last one in that space?

Basically i'm looking for something roughly similar (2 stage immob, black loom, alarm with central locking integration and transponder for auto immob disable) but I don't want to spend a fortune. Need a good installer in Auckland, too.

Secondly,
The Gaia has a Jap Import Stereo with Band Expander, which is 'ok'.
I had picked up a JVC head unit with a nice bluetooth module but as the Gaia also has a reversing camera, I'd like to try to keep it working if I can. This means I seem to be up to $1000 for a stereo? :( Is there an economical way to keep the backing camera working while fitting my new stereo, or is there a cost effective stereo w/screen on the market?

Cheers folks...

Repco do a cheap Automedia headunit which has the provision for a camera input, also has bluetooth. Forget the cost off the top of my head, but its sub $500 anyway

For comparison, I paid $170 for the JVC brand new. Not looking forward to even a $500 spend (though I suppose i'll have to stump up eventually if that's all there is).

Use your mirrors 8) People managed long before such luxuries

Or you could probably find a cheap(er) reversing camera kit.

Yeah, I wasn't too fussed about the camera to start with but given the cam and wiring for it will be remaining in place anyway, I figured I should at least investigate whether it's worth keeping it running.

I was pretty happy with the work Hotwire did on my Starlet, maybe give them a call.

Re the Stereo, new plan.. I went and checked out the $250 item from Repco, it's not bad actually, but I think i'd be better off seeing about getting a cheap standalone screen for my reversing camera and using the Stereo I already own.

I actually had the bright idea of a car nav system with reversing camera support, unfortunately they're all random asian brands (none of the big names seem to offer it on anything vaguely affordable).
