After a bit of internet reading I decided to pull my clutch LSD apart again and change it from 2 way to 1.5 way before install so that the AW is abit more predictable on the track. It's easy enough to change again if I ever feel the need. Thought I might as well take some pics while it was apart so people can get an idea of whats in them. It's back together again so I won't be taking any more . Not sure how some of these will come out......
Internals - all the bits inside the case once apart. The washers closest to the case are a cone washer with a thrust washer inside it. The clutch plates are radial lines on the right and spiral on the left. Next 2 bits have the ramps for 1.5 and 2 way settings. Next is the four pinion carrier and drive splines.
Clutch plates - radial and spiral patterns. These alternate on either side of the pinion carrier.
Ramp Angles - adjustable to either 2 way to 1.5. 2 way has the equal angles - cutout on the left on the front piece. 1.5 way has unequal angles so on throttle off the clutches don't engage as much.
