A meet for pre 90's jap and euro cars, classic, nostalgic, oldschool, retro, whatever.

When: 22nd January 2011, 10am til 2pm
Where: Massey Uni Carpark - Albany - Auckland

finally got in touch with Andrew at the Ferguson bar, situated right next to the carpark. If they open up he needs to generate enough income to make it worth while to cover staff costs etc. Food is not a major income earner though.

Will hear back soon from him, but basically if we get bar open, we'd ask that people support the venue by at least grabbing a drink or food or both. good idea or nah?

pulled plug on the ferguson due to costs involved and couldn't guarantee numbers.

BBQ it is! BYO meat. i'll have my 3 burner oven available from 12pm. feel free to use it. i'll grab some precooked sausies for the unprepared, $1.50ea and any profit goes toward better advertising next year.

theres a west auckland meet in westgate outside bk at round 9 leaving at 9.30?

A shit, I'm in Orewa so would only take me around half an hour to get there... and in a few weeks I will be living in West Harbour so that would've been perfect, 'but' my parents fly off to Singapore in the morning (10-11 am) so I have to drop them off at the airport.

Guttered, would've definitely been keen

I will try make it to the nostalgia meet by noon if I can though.

just to clarify the previous post... westies meeting outside westgate BK 9am then cruising together to Albany.
a few of the datsun guys are meeting at Repco manukau 9.15am and leaving 9.30am.

i think the weather/BDO/Hampton downs was the reason the numbers were slightly down this year. Still a primo turn out though
