Fidanza Aluminium Flywheels & Chromoly Flywheels

Postby Bazda » Fri Aug 05, 2011 9:56 am

Hey Guys,

We had a small shipment of Fidanza flywheels landed.

Fidanza aluminum flywheels
Made from 6061 T6 aluminum. The material is fantastic for strength, heat dissipation and of course reduction in weight.
Friction surface is icredibly strong 1045 steel.
Can mate with any type of clutch material: organic, kevlar, ceramic, metallic and sintered iron.
Replaceable friction plates there is no need to replace the entire flywheel when the clutch or flywheel is at the end of it's life, saving time and money.

We dont have many Toyota ones available as Fidanza are taking ages to make them.

They are light weight!

The alloy ones are of course superior! but they cost more.
And because the friction surface can be replaced they flywheel will last forever.

Chromoly ones are just more cost effective.

DeeCee, I was wondering the same thing.

Bazda, what he's asking is are the holes to the crank slotted? The PCD of the 3S vs 5S is slightly different, and Fidanza started making them a universal fit for these two engines

Ok I will check tonight. These are their fresh batch made last month! So if they changed it to a newer design this will be it.

Holes are not elongated. Just normal straight through holes.
But if you wanted it to fit a 5S I can easily elongate them for you on the CNC.

Just a quick bump.
