Very good, thanks guys. The cooler itself doesn't have any oil on it, it's just seeping from around the block, so hopefully the o-ring will do the trick.
I'll let you know if I need that cooler :)

3SGE gen 3 oil cooler leaking

At least that's what I think it is. Being a f**ing technical legend, i'll describe it as the round silver thingee on the block above the oil filter, with hoses connecting into a coolant manifold, and the pipes that go back into the firewall.
Soooo anyway, it's dripping a little oil, nothing big,but ...

Not 100% on the OP topic, but I'd like to see:
- A driving competency test every time you renew your license (10 years).
- Mandatory driver training for anyone who has an accident resulting in serious injury.
- One strike you're out for drunk driving.
- Reoffending for, say, drunk driving ...

I've had some pretty crazy tyre sizes between front and back, never had a problem. *shrug*

Maybe you shouldn't wear your cap backwards when you go in, you may find the process goes smoother?

Plus 'FTP' in 1M tall gansta letters on the rear window right?

Because I'm very keen on file transfers ...

Yeah dude. Go to your local Fletchers hub and ask them if you can receive some. They may or may not be helpful, but it's worth an ask.
Or, just roll up to a house that has a builders truck out front and ask them if they want to swap a box of booze for a few rolls. Liquid Gold is a strong currency ...

Good point, i'm just not sure if I can do it after dissing the H for so many years!
Ego aside, I may look into it. I was even thinking about an SR20 at one stage, just because of the sheer volume of after-market (cheating) options.

I certainly know for me personally, if i was to do it all over again i would buy a car with solid modifications done already ...

I'm thinking perhaps the Starlet / Corolla RWD may be the way to go. Or even an Escort if I could find one that's not f**ked.

I'm not taking much persuasion to go away from the turbo route. A standard Beams would give plenty of punch in the smaller chassis.

Quint, I know what you mean about ...

^^ I actually really like that idea

Maybe I should do that with an AE101! The back seats are f**king useless anyway!

BTW, I have an uncle in Taupo who was a mechanic for 20+ years, and build many hot rods, including a 37 Chev chop-top, 55 Chev, and a few T-buckets he built from scratch. So, I ...

All points taken. I've never been a fan of show, definitely go. I want to do something that's not run-of-the-mill, possibly a track car. I don't want to refurbish a car.

I've never been a fan of Honda, but that's just Toyota ego stubbornness. If I stay toyota, whatever I do will be turbo. I like ...

Help me with a long term project....

OK, so I HATE New Year resolutions with a passion. Stupidest idea ever.
Anyway, around the 1st of January I decided I would start a project at the end of the year. I was resolute in this decision.

There are a few key points to note:
