Re: Photos of a traffic jam stuck in the woods for 70 years

Yeah, I can't see a single prewar car amongst that lot.

Older car near the 51-ish Ford is a late Citroen Traction Avant (early 50's) due to larger boot.

It was fine, some minor contact (rubbings racing type stuff) amongst the pointy end of the field but on the whole it was fine. Quite a spectacle seeing that many cars out on track at once. No major incidents in any of the rounds thus far though, and some great racing.

I very much doubt anything will be bought back, you'll just be told to $&#$% off.

We're just replacing the 225,000km old shocks, adding some lowered springs, a good set of road tyres, fixing the rooted inner CV, good pads, fluid and anything else that looks like it's about to fall to bits and ...

You're kidding? I took a BRZ shod in standard Bridgestone Ecopias over Scenic Drive on damp roads, and it was pretty evident there was an LSD in the back doing it's thing under acceleration from 2nd and 3rd gear corners...

But you are right for the most part, on turn in I found it pushed the ...

Yeah 96-97. I think the first year it was at Meremere it cost, but that was to be expected.

once the current owners took over.

Our plan with this show is to keep it as grassroots as possible

I was always under the impression TSW made a decent quality product, they've been around for decades (longer than SSR even, I think you'll find). South African origin I think?

Either way, all of those options are pretty horrible. I'd pick the Stowe silver if I had a gun against my head and was ...

The funny part of this, is going to the insurance company to get a mirror on an AE101 fixed.

I wouldn't even bother $&#$% around with the claim/excess/whatever. Just find the bits on a wreck and fix it in a couple of hours or so.

For an especially hard to find, or expensive repair sure I guess ...

Doubt we'll see a Supra that lives upto the reputation of its heritage.
It's not THAAAT difficult to build a bulbous overweight GT coupe, I'm sure they'll manage it just fine.

Its true, they do have a very bulbous/curvy rear end, but overweight compared to what? I thought that it was a very ...

Good bogan/hoon appeal

Super mint

Very rare in 2 seater form esp. with manual

Well under budget.

I go back to my original statement

why do people think a car needs a turbo to be fast from a to b?
cant anyone drive through corners properly these days?
hp is irrelevant when it comes to going around a corner.

Last time i checked, this wasn't the USA, and tracks had corners........

Ok I ...

Why are we comparing turbos to NA? Im confused haha, I thought we were talking about an R33 NA vs a JZA80 NA?

When mine used to be NA, It was marginally slower than an R33 gtst with a fmic, bigger masterpower turbo, EMU etc. But to be honest, I expected that would be the case, but there wasnt much ...
