MR2 winder motor bracket

Hi I have a 1990 mr2 code SW20 ACMQF, and the bracket for the window winder motor bracket is completely out to lunch.
Anyone know if these are a common pattern part accross toyotas? or am I just going to have to search for one out of another MR2?

what do you want to spend?
500 will get you a basic cheap sub and amp combo.
700 you could get a good sub and a decent 4 channel amp to drive it and your fronts, past that the sky is the limit but then the rest of the install would probably need to be upgraded.

where are you going to put all the amps?
I would look at 2, 4 ohm dvc subs(whatever brand/size takes your fancy but preferably not new lanzar!) and class d mono block to power them. (if your amp is 1 ohm stable go with that.) I wouldnt go with dd in an mr2 as they require huge ported enclosures (3 ...

i was thinking of an air shifter, just need to set up two air cylinders to control the shifter arms and some electronics on the gear shift assy to control the cylinders movement. still not easy though.

lots of time and working in a confined space for that kind of thing is no fun.

I was ...

when choosing, if you want a bolt in speaker, avoid overly wide magnets as they foul on the window runner, eg my alpine type s components with std spacer. depth is a bit of an issue, but not too bad. it is a bit of a mish to make spacers that fit in behind the trims, but it is possible.

Looking at upgrading already to get more room behind the seats, mates are too tall.

Buy what sounds good to you, and you know you can make fit.
I would ...

do you still have the specs of the sub, a 1 cubic foot box is easy to make and fit, and you could easily go a bit bigger behind the seat if you wanted.
The space behind the drivers seat could be used to house the amp, or you could make an enclosure on one side of the boot. You could also use the ...

what does the shifter look like, (pic if possible), do the linkages come off the bottom of the shifter (below the pivot) or above the pivot, but yeah any fabrication shop will be able to make one up with a spacer for you, and you may as well modify the factory one while you have the "short" shifter ...

Re: Tire recomendations?

Out of these four I would choose Grid II first then GP M3, because these tend to have a softer compound, which provides better grip in the dry and wet, where the Dunlops and Goodyear are a bit harder compound, which last longer but don't have better grip.
My fifth recommendation is BS Potenza ...

Sup guys, i can get a short shift for 1990 corolla onwards. will this fit

dont know if it will fit or not, but they are at least easy to put in if you can operate a screwdriver and a socket set. It should be similar to my mr2 in that it is a remote shifter, so you just take off as much trim as ...

just take a sample of each to your local engineering supply story and get them there, the will cost about a dollar or the store may be generous and not charge you.

Sw20 suspension.

I would like to start pricing up a suspension upgrade for my mr2. It creaks quite badly somewhere at the front end. This is probably just bushes I have been informed.
I have heard the mr2s handle best on stock suspension, so the logical (and cheap) route to go would new shocks and bushes from toyota ...
