Re: Stolen - UZZ30 Soarer, Stokes Valley

There are a lot of stolen cars turning up in Porirua these days. I'm down in Tawa and they get discovered quite often aye.

Re: Powder coater in wellington?

I'm going to go to steam and sand in Porirua tomorrow and ask them about getting the centres done and see what they are worth.

Re: Powersteering conversion 80s series toyotas

Crossmember lego is not that easy unfortunately, normally lots of cutting and welding needed. If you look up Sheepers RA28 on Oldschool you can see what it took to get an *E70 (might have been *E86?) rack into that, which is actually a reasonably common conversion. I got really lucky with my TA63 ...

Re: Vehicle storage in the hutt?

What about in ohario valley ?

I had my MR stored there for a couple of years.

It secured and alarmed, has an electric gate

Fully enclosed and dry.

Its high security, you wont be able to work on it their, and you will have to arrange with the property owners if you need some thing from it etc ...

Re: Powersteering conversion 80s series toyotas

Post up some measurements of the crossmember in your car, including the LCA mount points. I have KE70 (same as AE86) and TA63 crossmembers I can check for you. You are likely to find it is easier to mount a rack to your current crossmember, or have a dig through http://www.toymods.org ...

Re: Powersteering conversion 80s series toyotas

The crossmembers are all different with different engine mounts, steering racks, powersteering racks etc. mine currently runs a horrible steering box setup and I have a funny feeling that the dump pipe off the turbo will foul on the steering box.

Powersteering conversion 80s series toyotas

Hey guys,

So some of you will know I want to put a powersteering setup into my corona and I was wondering what 80s series toyotas have powersteering and share the same 4bolt crossmember setup? A bit of playing around will be had to get all the suspension geometry correct for cert purposes. I was ...

All brakes do work but $730 just seems pricey. I'm sure I can get it done for around 600 somewhere

I want the whole car. I can put a 3t in it and thoughts were to repaint it and have a tidy run around while I build my other corona.

Car haulage - who to use? Chch to WGTN

Hey guys,

I have found another tt132 corona in CHCH that I'm after and it will be a rolling body. Who should I use that won't cost me a fortune? I had a quote of $730 incl gst as it's not driveable.

Any ideas are welcomed.

SOLD IT! Corolla is gone. Money in the bank and the new owner collect her tomorrow. I have had XSVWGN/XSVTOY for the last 8years so it's sad to see it go but all good things come to an end.
