i test drove one a while back, and i dont know if its an isolated case or normal for all of them, but it had the worst auto trans i have driven in a long time. Slow to change, lazy, unresponsive and the tiptronic mode might as well have not even existed it was that bad. A real letdown considering it ...

i suspect this is normal for drilled/slotted/dimpled rotors. Had a few cars with them now and they were all slightly noisy when braking hard at speed.

whats the big deal with "running away" from cars with security interest? As long as the finance company gets their money and the interest is lifted, there is no issue. Sometimes you can send the money to them direct instead of relying on the seller.

Ive purchased a couple of car with money owning ...

Have a look around some overseas forums. Keep in mind there is a huge following in the likes of India, and its called a Maruti not Suzuki.

Not sure you will get a heck of a lot more out of the wee 3 banger, but hey, fun to try.

Hah yep, witchcraft suspension is the one.

Once you have it all explained its quite a simple system, but it does have a number of elements to it. Fortunately its a Toyota, so they were the one company to pull off such a feat of engineering & see it last (with a bit of TLC)

Its not a gimmick ...

there are more and more colts coming into the country recently so the market is expanding.

Whats wrong with the current set up that you need to change it? Chances are they were removed because the importer didnt want to have to bother certing the adjusties at compliance.

We have been offered a Black (metallic paint) swift sport for $23,000 drive away... But it doesnt have a spare wheel or a tow bar (bikes) and frankly, its pretty slow.

The Polo really is the pick, it has both a spare ...
