You might right. Popped into work and it says on the Dexron stuff that its suitable for all Toyota transmissions requiring "T" oil and all GM stuff, except those requiring Dexron 4.

Castrol book lists DexIII for everything except the later model stuff which lists as TMJ I think

bit confuse now ...

cool....should i take it to toyota flush the whole gearbox...or just go back to the garage to ask them to change it (but i know normal atf change only change part of the oil??)

i just bought a toyota funcargo 1.3 automatic and do a full service...
i also ask them to change the atf.....
after i go home i found they use castrol TQ Dexron III atf instead of geniune toyota one...and read from the net i can only use geniue toyota atf for my box...is that true ...

POWER BUILT IS GOOD....AT LEAST EVEN U BREAK IT AT 6:00 EVENING....U STILL CAN CHANGE IT...AS REPCO CLOSE AT 7:30....HAHA

i dont think the parts is expensive...just the labour is expensive...as it involved cam belt...etc....

have u jack up the car to see if oil leak from the seal??or just see if the oil on the floor in the morning??

cos very common place for the oil leaking is the rocket cover/distributor o-ring..etc......which only leak when the engine is running..so, what i suggest to do is if u havnt jack up the ...

i just bought a rs*r 2.25 inch muffler today for my st182 celica...
and i ahve some queaion about it...

1) is it illegal for a car without cat.?cos the muffler shop said that it is legal..

2)if it is legal, which way is the best way to do the system if i want to keep some bottom end power ...

cos the quotation i got have large range....from $400-900.....

my car is st182 celica with 3sge engine

i would like to know how to install to a 90 celica with 3sge engine? do i need any special adaptor, if do, where can i buy them

check the fuel line especially the inlet and outline of the fuel filter to see if there is any leak there....and also the "fuel regulator"

dear Ajz, any 2 1/4 inch muffler in the market? cos i look up trademe, all of them is 2 inch or 2.5 inch?

but i m thinking like the close ratio gearbox with accelerate faster than the normal gear ratio gearbox

so, will it accelerate slower???
