Re: Hatchbacks

Ive got a 2007 golf R32 dsg box, love it, sounds great and goes great. Feels like a lot bigger car than what it is, plenty of room on the inside, easily fit 5 adults comfortably.
Looked at the wrx sti as well but just seemed so plane compared to the spec of the golf.

1g-fe altezza idleing high

My sister has a 1g-fe powered altezza/is200. It is idleing high when in park and stationary at around 2500rpm-3000rpm. Is there any way of running a diagnosis check on it to get a falt code? Or would any one know what it could be?

Something like this, but im sure if your not in a hurry you could get one with lower kms

Im a big fan of frequent changes. Depends on the car, age and use of it.

I agree, both mine and the missus STIs get oil changes every 5k with full synthetic oil

people realised building show cars is crap so sold up and became little johnny in dime a dozen S13s, R32s etc.

Even so, no one seems to put any effort into there cars compared to what you see from the north island, not just show cars either, there always seems to be plenty of nice drag cars ...

What's happened to the car scene down south?

Seeing the 4 n rotangs has been cancelled due to small turnout for the second year in a row, where have all the car "enthusiast" gone? Why cant we get decent sized events like up in the north island? The quality of cars down here seem to lack as well, all i see now days is bogan old shitters.
