Just a stab in the dark here, but has it got a non return fuel system? If so, Could it be heat from the engine boiling the fuel in the fuel rail etc (while sitting), and then because of the engine end up, vapour trapped in the rail when engine started? Just a quess.

Aerodynamics question. Airflow under car?

I had a search around and cant quite get a definitive answer. I want to know how much air flows under a car while traveling? I know that great effort is put into the front of racecars to lessen airflow under the car. What about your normal street car with 100mm of ground clearance? I know of stories ...

There are two main areas that need to be cleaned in a mitzi gdi. The intake manifold, esp the carbon buildup on the back of the valves. Mitzi sell a product called "shurma" or something like that from memory. This is run through the throttle body with the intake/afm off, while the engines running ...

Hi, cost of a holset turbo balance?

Hey everyone, looking at a holset on trademe, but the guy had decided to pull it apart at some previous stage. Wheels out and everything. So its now gonna need a rebuild or just a balance at the least. Any idea how much this would cost?
Cheers.

Custom suspension arms and welding
