you can get king superlows pretty cheap ~$400 if you fit them yourself...

you can compress them for $220 at snells springs, but the ride is kinda bumpy & not-so-legal & not-so-safe, unless you compress your shocks, which are $60/corner at autolign....

if you want perfect suspension ~$1000 ...

but scotts2hot has an idea I was thinking about, if you took springs out of another car [direct replacement] that were factory lower, and managed to do a straight swap into another car ...

Well the question has to be asked, if you cant afford to modify your car...why are you still trying to?

I never said I couldn't afford to modify my car. I said I don't have loads of money to do it with. I can afford $200 for compressed springs, and also could save up $550 for king springs ...

Im wondering how to lower my Corolla. Ive read about compression on this forum, but am wondering how to get my car sittin closer to the ground, without mass $bling$ expense. I know compression & choppies are easy to get thru a warrant, with a standard set of springs or painting htem ...

Basically i've just done a fair bit of work on my 2E OHC 1295cc 12 valve engine on my corolla, engine head, all gaskets, oil/cooling flush, serviced everything so its running sweet.
But now im wanting more power, and on the extreme cheap.
How hard would it be to do a 2E-TE transplant?
