Run by the Historic Car Club, will be a good mix of cars competing.

You have to register through http://www.motorsportentry.com/ which is a very difficult web site to navigate through and has very little information about the event like start times, vehicle requirments etc.. if I find any more info out I will post it up.

Organizer The Historic Racing Club Inc.

1. Introduction

1.1 Authority: In accordance with the current Motorsport New Zealand Manual Appendix Two Schedule H this plan sets out the systems that are in place and specifies the processes to use in the event of any injury accident for competitors, officials and members of the public.

1.2 Event Control Headquarters
The Event Control will be based in the Hampton Downs Motorsport Park Paddock Office.
The Event Secretary or their appointed deputy will also assume the role of Results Officer and will man control throughout the day.

1.3 Safety Services
Medical Services will be provided by the Order of St John, in the event of further urgent medical treatment being required the St John member will contact their control room.

1.4 Event Intervention
A suitable tow vehicle equipped with a Fire Extinguisher will be positioned near the start line.

1.5 Event Communication
Communication between Event Control, Flag Points and Emergency Vehicles will be by Hand Held Radios. Cell Phones will be used to communicate with the outside world.

2. Venue

2.1 Location
The event will be held at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park State Highway 1
North Waikato.

2.2 Course Length and Surface
The Course is approximately 2 Km long and runs on the Hampton Downs Circuit 30 m below turn 9 to the Start/Finish line in the reverse direction.

2.3 Vehicle Access
Vehicle access will be via the normal road access for Hampton Downs

2.4 Venue Security
(1) Road Closure
As this is a permanent circuit road closure is not necessary in this situation

(2) Spectator Control
As this is a permanent circuit spectators will be behind permanent barriers


2.5 Manning Levels
The Start and Finish Lines as well as all intermediate Flag Points will be manned by one person. All points will be equipped with a Fire Extinguisher and a Radio in addition the Flag Points will have Red and Yellow Flags.

2.6 Course Clearance
The Clerk of the Course will inspect the course before the event commences and if and when necessary throughout the day. Radios will be used to relay any relevant information to the Clerk of the Course
