Platinum Wheels: Guy Fawkes Cruise

Its that time again.. Nice warm weather, and open roads!
We have combined this with the most ideallic setting in NZ
Waipu cove is one of the most beautful beaches in the country, and in true platinum wheels style we have timed the event to co-incide with 'Guy Fawkes' night.
We are meeting at Midday (12:00pm) at Platinum Wheels, and will be crusiing the most awesome roads in the country!
The Route is only 130 km so it wont cost you too much gas (we did it on less than 1/2 a tank one way)
Waipu cove is the destination, During the afternoon we will have some time to have a BBQ and chuck the footy around on the beach or take a swim if you are brave!
We are planning to stay until the evening and let some fireworks off at the beach,
Overnight stays are not neccasary as its only 1.5hrs drive to turn around and head back home.
If you wish to stay for the night accomadation is available, at Camp Waipu Cove (camping) or at the Waipu Cove Resort (motel)

Alternativley you are free to cruise back anytime.
Anyone who wants to bring some fire works up with you please do so, a few of us will bring some up to put on a display on the beach that night..
Please note that the camp grounds have a STRICT NO FIREWORKS policy, so you will have to take them off site.
Please pick up your mess as we don't want to destroy such a beautiful place.
