Auckland Car Clubs

Postby Grrrrrrr! » Mon Nov 26, 2012 12:00 am

Just been trying to find out what sort of entry fees car clubs charge for events like hillclimbs and trackdays, clubsport type events. All the big events Summer series etc seem to be around $200 entry fee up here. Not ready to commit to those sort of competitive events until i've got some tracktime under the belt so wondering how much getting tracktime is going to cost me. Already checked out playday on track, but I cant find entry fees for the smaller events on any of the car club websites.

Also, which of the Auckland car clubs has the best range of events? Auckland Car Club seems to have big events, but haven't seen anything about hillclimbs or single sprint type events..
Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.

check out the likes of Pukekohe Car Club or Hibiscus Coast Car Club both seem to be pretty active for hill climbs, road sprints etc

for us - Motorsport Bay Of Plenty, our hill climbs/road sprints are $60-70, circuit sprints $120ish, rally sprints $120-150, autocross $20-40

I'm a member of pukekohe car club, they have a good range of events, $60 a year, and event pricing is around what strx7 has said his club charge.
