Wednesday meet 30th May

Ok, the thread on the other page is getting too cluttered, so I'm starting a new thread so we can have a list of people who are going to attend the meet on the 30th! Combined with preferred location (it appears polling is disabled in the Auckland forums ). So no easy Push buttons for you.

Post if you are attending, and preferred location, don't fill the thread up with useless crap.

i.e.
Girvs, Spirit'd and Quay Street (or the only location you could make).

I will post on the Wednesday at around lunchtime as to where the meet will be (given we have enough, people and responses).

Well, thats four of us so far from 9pm. I'll take a drive down (for something to do), so if you guys are still keen to meet up, then go ahead. If not, I'll wait till about 9:20'ish, and if its a no show, then I'm off.

it was good. total of 4 peoples turned up. 2 supras, my levin gtz and a corolla limited.

The corolla was real tidy in the engine! quick for a n/a too! The guy dragged me off down the straight past maccaz (bananas as iv heard) and easily kept up with my standard gtz. All he had was an exhaust and better extractors as well as a remounted pod from what he showed me.

One of the supras was n/a (red one) and the other was twin turbs (silver). the twin turbo supra was niiiice and had both turbos spooling at the same time.. cool me thinks.

Sorry i dont remember names. told you guys i wouldnt!! but i said i would remember the cars! and so i did.

next time hope to see more faces

Anyway, the meet was good, as Pjay said, only a few of us. Would have been good to see more people come along. But at least with a small group it allows you to get the time to talk to each other, and get to know people a bit better at first I ended up staying for about an hour and a half before everyone decided it was bed time

There were three of us there for a while, I talked a lot of crap, pjay asked a lot of questions, and 20V_rollaboy provided some good technical knowledge

Would be good to keep the meets going, unfortunately I'm not gonna be around for the next two months or so, but definitely keen to have more when I get back!

No probs mate, will post when I'm back in Aucks for another meet, see if we can stir up a few more people. And hey, two months gives you plenty of time to fix and WoF your car, as long as your rego is valid in a few months
