Yeah, it is a pity that we can't see the cars in all their glory at night. But those of you with fancy cameras can do some long exposure shots. They work out pretty good.

Depending on how many of us there are we can head to

for good lighting

Alright! Success! Toyspeed Auckland has had it's 1st big meet in about 2 years according to kinloud
Tweny something cars turn up

Very nice to meet you all and cool to put names to faces as always

Now we wait for the fancy camera guys to show us their shots

Good turnout - lots of people who aren't members but follow the forums!

Good to be able to connect names/faces/cars/projects to real people.

For those who didn't see, I turned up near the end... and parked far away under the shark lol.

Really good turnout, think I counted 30+ cars throughout the night.
Didnt see any trouble from the toyspeed guys but had a stock estima rev at us as it drove by :lol:

I think next time we should go somewhere with lights as it got dark petty quick, also somewhere low car friendly without big drains in front of the parks.

I didn't realise this was on tonight until I ran past Kelly Tarltons just as people were arriving (a couple of Corollas and a Starlet there), I would've come and said hi but running is serious business and I don't often stop :lol:

Plus I was awfully sweaty and would've felt a bit odd in my skimpy running gear :oops:

As others have said, it was a very impressive turnout. I got there at about 7:45pm and there was a lone Starlet sitting there, however slowly but surely as the time ticked on more and more cars arrived. By 9:30pm there were at least 30 of us all lined up on both sides of the car park. Would definitely prefer to go somewhere with better lighting next time, preferably an underground car-park since the fluorescent lights work wonders against the paintwork, but if the turnout is that successful every time then I really don't mind where we go. Was good to meet the guys who attended. Hopefully see everyone again at the next one

hello boyz man it was a mean nite and mean weather..we were lucky that it didnt rain ay..yup sure was more than 25 cars there was good..and guys i know why my wagns hid wasnt working at time to time the wire is grounding on the chass.so got cable tie to something..
other than that was a mean as nite yeap next time we go sumwhere underground and theres food around like next door not few kms away..heheheh

I will be going around auckland and look for some new places we can meet up.

Just for my toy speeders.

Give me some ideas guys

1. Good lighting for photos
2. Big car park.
