They looked like they went down to just above the exhaust manifolds, so must have been to let some heat out or something

Yep thats what they are if you have a look at the back at the radiator grills off the back there are 2 small square holes next to these grills that run the length of the car and definitely help get rid of heat.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to David and Matt for rescuing me off the side of the motorway after the bridge. My alternator packed up and the battery ran out of juice just as I got over the top of the bridge. I was able to coast down and off without any dramas, it was close though and would have sucked to have had it die on the way up the bridge. Quick battery swap and I was able to complete the trip to see the LFA and continue on to a safe parking spot for the night on the remaining battery power. Now to figure out why it's killing alternators.

Gutted I missed it. I was busy shifting house. had to be moved Monday and only took over the lease on Monday.

It wasn't started up anyway, they were going to, but with no one putting their cameras away when being told to made the guy not do it... so, so close.

That guy sounds like a douche. Couldn't get his own way so made everybody miss out :roll:

. Maybe he was afraid all of the camera's electrical components would randomly band together as he started it and short circuit his ECU :lol:

He said he'd get in trouble if he started it because only the minder was allowed to do that (plus with cameras he said it'd reach the Internet and he'd be fired apparently heh). Bah, I'll just have to wait until I get to Canada to take a ride in my mate's Dad's one! (though I have no plans to go to Canada anytime soon... So it would've been nice if it was started up :p).
