If you keep your eyes peeled theres a few events on, Currently working on a cruise to hamilton to see the christmas lights.

The Hamilton Xmas lights isn't worth driving 250kms and spend $40 on petrol for. Trust me, I've been there(I used to live there)

There pretty good now, the big tree at garden place is impressive as well as the usual spots (temple view, huntington etc) . Im keen to meet some Auckland members but that is a long drive.

Whens the next cruise happening anyway?

Maybe I should organize one for down my way? I was thinking maybe out to Awhitu. or through the Hunuas to Kaiaua.

go thru hunua gorge to clevedon, then thru to orere point thru another gorge, then to kaiaua (thru another gorge

Yep, some really nice twisty roads through there but they widened them heaps a few years ago so it's safe to go through them with a bit of pace
