MTA Approved Mechanics

Postby Boosted_162 » Fri Dec 10, 2010 6:47 pm

Hey guys,
Will be looking for someone to do the servicing on my car. Being the fact its a GTR im being very picky as to whom i let touch it. The only catch being, my mechanical warranty requires a MTA approved mechanic has to do the services. My first pick of course would be Joe Kyle, but not sure if hes approved, anyone know?

2nd pick would be Nissan in takapuna, but id imagine they would be $$$.

Will need to be north shore unless im sure they are good (aka Joe).

Anyone got some recommendations? Chur :D

Can't recommend any one over another but I'm sure many will. You can check the site to see if Joe is approved.

I did just have a nosey, but seeing as i have never taken a car to a mechanic, im not sure whose good!

Did notice Manon Butler Motors on the list tho  Joe isnt on there tho afaik.

Also reading my fine print now, it says servicing has to be carried out by a members of the MTA, VSF or such other repairer as agreed to by Janssen Holdings Ltd (warranty company) so might give them a ring.

I have had good dealings with ST HI-TEC LTD when I was there last they had a few hundred thousand dollars worth of GTR Skylines being worked on, seems to do a fair amount of work with GTRs. I have never had any service work done there but its a professional looking work shop and I am sure if you see 7-8 GTRs all in one workshop at one time its a good indication that there work is good quality.
