What a run.

First and most importantly we managed to raise just shy of $4000 for the
Life After Cancer Charitible Trust

and Secondly this was the best run I have been on the number of cars was very light but the quality of the vehicles and the people was top notch.

Big thank you to 'The Baron' for putting the whole thing together (I know the work that goes into these runs)

So we started the day in Auckland and after we realised there were two sets of directions and we shouldn't followed the mad Hatter in his R8 we figured it out and were off.

First Stop BP Solar where Nick Nuke was waiting in his Humvee to give you A short boot camp challenge to get your passport stamped.

Next off through so sweet back roads to the Big Apple for a lunch stop general catch up and another stamp.

BarryDale pub to drink the barons drink - This I was expecting a shot of something nasty instead it was a drink food suppliment that people with Cancer related illness have to drink to survive on.

Next stop was Whakapapa - it was freezing - to find the motorhome and get another stamp. Thanks to Kiwiana Tours

And the final stop The Park in National park.

Some teams of mention

Ofcourse the Real Mean Crash Response Unit in our Evo VII - (slowest average speed overall)
Speedo Cops in their Comodore replica undercover police car
The Mad Hatters in their R8 Comodore got best costume.
Atom Jonny should have the brass nuts award they would have been freezing all weekend.

On the Sunday we got up - some more slowly than others - and headed up to hampton Downs for some free laps thanks to the Playday crew.

All in all What a weekend made some great friends caught up with more and had a blast.

Thank you to Sound Q for sponsoring the event.

See you all on the next one.
