Ahhh... I can see the source of the confusion... both being venues where nutritional sustenence can be purchased and consumed. ;)

Each to their own of course, but the last 2 times i have been there i havnt enjoyed the meal. I had a terrible Steak (that everyone raves about) So the 2nd time i had the "Dixie Chicken" and it wasnt too great either.

Ill have to try it again sometime. Just after 2 bad experiences not to keen to risk having a shit meal and paying for it :P hehehe

Not check out the Lonestar, so no opinion there.
Been to the Realm a few times, excellent food and I know the management.

If you right into your steaks, check out Hogs Breath in the Reading Center on Courtney Place. Good prices, HUGE steak (comes in two weights 300grm or 400grm).
And there's the Dog and Bone on Lambton Quay. My wife says you get a good feed there.

Faecal matter doesn't differentiate between food groups :? Poor hygiene practices can happen anywhere. One kitchen hand fails to wash their grubby mitts after a dump and it's an accident waiting to happen.

I personally have nothing but good memories at Lonestar. The meals I had at the Realm a few years back(2 for 1 deals)were also up there.

My most disappointing meal ever was "Hogs breath". I've never had such a poor night out before but the one thing in their favour was that they offered to comp our meals without quibbling.

Yeah for sure.. it had bacon with it as well though.. but since both me and another person who had the same thing, both went home and were sick, points in that direction don't you think?
Your woman was there, ask her... :P
