Buying Nuts, Bolts & Fastenings on a Sunday - Wellington

Postby The_Lorax » Sat Feb 23, 2008 6:22 pm

Hi,

Where can I buy nuts, bolts, copper washers and other automotive fastenings on a Sunday (aside from repco & supercheap)?

I'm in Wellington.

Cheers,

Tim

old rusty stripped and crossthreaded bolts suck

I'm not sure about Sundays but Coastal Fastners were open on a saturday morning when I went to see them. Although I think they have moved from Kenepuru drive to another location now.

If supercheap has bolts anything like the "best buy" stuff I wouldn't bother! I needed a ratchet 1/2 to 3/8 conversion and supercheap is close...bad idea! I twisted it in half first try!

Repco / Supercheap also don't do a lot of imperial sized nuts / bolts / washers as I found out that weekend.
