I got beaten by a diesel corolla wagon in wet grass with my SW20. But I had never driven on wet grass before. I still did OK.

I will try to be at the next event, this time I will have a car to use

ahh, so judging by the amount of mud on the car behind the front wheels, and the distinct lack of it in a similar position behind the rear wheels we can now the wrx is quite clearly a fwd car then :P

Dude, we all got beaten by a $400 Honda City, that used to put out 40hp, back in the mid 1980's when it was new ... it's horses for courses at an autocross.

Plus of course Neil R can seriously drive.

Chinglesh ftw
But you seriously do look like you either need
A - Better mud flaps
or
B - To spend less lime in reverse as indicated by small amounts of mud looking to have been thrown towards the front of the car from the rear wheels

edited to remove my own chinglesh d'oh
