Panelbeating? Recommendations? Anyone have hookups?

Postby B1NZ » Wed Jul 14, 2010 2:09 pm

Need to get 2 dents removed from my car, One small dent in the drivers front guard and a tiny one (will be able to get the paintless dent removal) from the drivers door.

Anyone have any ideas on what I should expect to pay for this? Its a basic white paint so nothing fancy, and beating/finishing should be minimal

Thanks in advance

The few 'golf ball' dents that were on one side of crazycar costed the golf club $200 odd. I was amazed that they took out a dent that was deep and on the swage line!

They do a free quote service and were in an out within an hour.

Pacific dent removal I think was the name of the guys

See if they do a "group buy". Can bring around Donna's Starlet for the wee dent on the RH rear 1/4. Aaron can bring out the caged sedan and get the entire right side done.

Just called Pacific dent removals, Approx $70 per panel if it is possible do do it without damaging the paint. SO they should at least be able to do the door, we will see if they can do the guard as well?

Will ring around because IMO $440 + GST is way too much to pay for a tiny dent from the place I was quoted

We used Ashton Panel & Paint in Alicetown for the old rolla. Corey the foreman is really helpful, did a good job too. Not easy to neatly straighten the rear end of a corolla once a subaru has been up it quite hard!

We used Ashton's to take a small dent out of the door of Donna's Starlet after the neighbour's builder put a dent in the door with a bit of wood.

$700 +++ later.

Would not recommend if you are paying for anything yourself. Good job, but only go there if insurance is paying for it.

Good point, ours have been insurance. Agree they are expensive.
