Donnelly Park Levin
9:30 turn up, with hopefully the paperwork out of the way by 10:15 - 10:30.
It won't be a stupidly easy event, so make sure you're mentally prepared for some courses with changes of direction, driving into "garages", and slightly more demanding courses than just doing ever increasing circles and stuff like that.
You won't be bored

What the hell is a Motorkhana? Basically we set up a course with cones, that will be low speed (usually just first, and reverse gears). You go out there by yourself, and compete against the clock. You get two runs at each course, and your fastest attempt is recorded. If you displace a cone, you get a 5 second penalty against your time. If you do not complete the course, you get allocated the slowest time achieved in that course + 5 seconds.
You will start with your bonnet in line with the start cones, and you will finish when you come to a standstill with one set of wheels over the finish line and one set of wheels behind the finish line. eg: Front wheels over the line, rear wheels behind the line.
What do I need?
$20
Car in reasonable condition (wof and reg not required)
If you have already competed in two events such as this, you must belong to a MotorSport NZ car club. Harbour Capital Car Club is $30 per year to join, and we can join you up on the day.
What can't I have?
Bad attitude
Rally tires or Mud and Snow tires (they rip up the ground too much)
Idiot friends who might do wheelies or anything stupid at, or outside the venue. Anyone does anything silly, we call the cops, and make damn sure there is a prosecution. A good reputation is everything to a car club.
No booze at venue, zero tolerance.
What don't I need?
Don't need helmet, overalls, or a competition licence for this type of event.
We will do six tests during the day (two courses set up at a time), and they will look like a selection from THis Link Here
The paddock is relatively road car friendly, but will be a bit bouncy.
