Nice pics Matt.

I only used just under half a tank of gas to I was pretty happy with that.

I'm sure Luke will have some pretty ok footage of him following me up the Rima's yesterday.

I'm interested to see it as I want to have a good look how the car looks through some corners.

It was parked up at the entrance to estuary, desperately trying to keep the Nishin Maru at bay, and from harpooning our pod. But to no avail...

They got 3 of us from the shoreline with their harpoon gun, all of the red ones used to be black, but Im looking on the positive side though, as I got to go onboard afterwards to get pissed on Sake while eating Sushi off the belly of the Captains Daughter.

But srsly, much wallowing was had that day...

How did your smoking issue end up, Luke?

Hope it was just residual unicorn semen on the cat converter, from over filling, and not a leak?

It was a leak, but very minor in fact, the new gear selector seal hadn't seated properly, so a gear change at some point pushed it out of its recess (there is no circlip or anything that holds it in place.) All that smoke was created by about a handful of oil... when the filler bung was removed it was still full, had been slightly over-filled before.

All sorted now :)

Just wondering Boyz & Girls if we were thinking of doing anything before Xmas rolled around.

Ran into Stott 69 yesterday and he seemed fairly keen to get something done before the end of the year.

Thoughts ?

I would normally have been keen to organise a bit of a meat, but much to my frustration, I have been struck down with a pretty nasty stomach ulcer for the past few weeks, which sadly means my car is still in lots of pieces, and definitely wont be running this side of xmas.

Have fun, whatever you guys get up, though. :)

Cheers for the offer, mate, but if Im feeling up to getting out and about, I really need to spend the time working on my car...as it would seriously suck if I dont get it finished in time for Taupo.

Have a great time anyway guys n gals :)
