God damn electronics...... spent all weekend trying to sought my s*it out and its still not working. Theres a chance I wont be able to make it now as I am getting a new engine for the beast and I doubt it will be in in time..... unless there are some people who would love to help me do it over the christmas/new years break...... hint hint hint hint

New engine and gearbox arrive on Wednesday so I might be good to go, will have to pay the full wack tho as I'm not going to know until its all fitted.

24 entries (maximum 50) as of last night ... whoah, that's pretty good for a small club event, a month + out from the date.

Really appreciate the offers of help folks, the more people on timing and flags means that we can rotate people around during the day, and make sure that marshalls get taken out for rides in cars.

can the $$ be direct credited like the club membership or will that get alittle confusing?

um, that might get confusing I think, because we handle each event seperately in the finances.

Yes, dual car sprint only, sorry no changes to that as our permit and regs have been in place since November.

Authority Card is to get a warrant of fitness.

You'll need Clubsport licence.

If you have a cage, it needs to be homologated, and you will need a logbook. But this is the same for every MotorSport permitted event anyway. So no different to a single car sprint. No cage required at either single or dual car sprints.

Only difference between single and dual car sprint is Clubsport licence requirement. $55 / year.

Hope this clears a few things up, sounds like you've been given some bad information somewhere along the lines.

Leon, as our official representative from MSNZ, would it be possible for you to create a thorough breakdown of requirements that can be stickied an FAQ'ed for future reference. i know certain clubs have their own rules as to closed road events without cages, but as a general rule, the clubsport basic events are the same, as are the track based sprints/tarmac autocrosses.

i'm hoping to create a calender of events (for the SI clubs) that guys can either compete in their road car, or spectate and maybe get a ride in prepped car.
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin

f#@k you i won't do what ya tell me

I didn't even know there is one... not in the magazine anyway.. i think...
There is a Lester Multi Event Weekend on the 28 and 29 Jan.

Who do I contact for the MCC sprint on 22nd? I'll be keen since I can't enter dual sprint for the day before. I believe there will be a few other will be keen too for the sprint..
Cheers for letting me know!

Leon, yeah I think for the Clubsport licence is just you have to "pay" for it!? Will look more into it..

Haven't been on a track for quite a while....

Contact Julian, I havent received the latest Magazine yet....... but its on the manfeild website. Think its the back track this time $40 for the day.

Yep the multi event is on the 28th and 29th. I am so there for that, just gonna need some volunteers to help me remove my front bumper for the autocross....... dont wanna smash that puppy up

Multi Event
Autocross (can be quite brutal, they rolled one car and broke about three others last year)
Motorkhana
Single Car Sprint.

It's usually cheapish to enter, I've done the event for the last three years, sort of the $50 mark.

I will be working on something, as I am intending to run a competitor coaching day on February 19th, and am going to have to create such information for this event.

It's all in the motorsport manual here as a 1.7 meg pdf download. That's the thorough breakdown, but I can do a small simple breakdown that will cover "beginner" events.
