add me on the list Leon, ive added it to my callender!Santa'sBoostinSleigh wrote:im in!!Leon wrote:Marshalling at a Dual Car is pretty easy ... red flag if they tell you to do so over the radio. Red flag if something crashes big in your zone. Point rescue crew at crashed cars. Eat rolls, drink coke. Get taken for ride in cars.

Really appreciate the offers of help folks, the more people on timing and flags means that we can rotate people around during the day, and make sure that marshalls get taken out for rides in cars.

NA Drifter wrote:Just saw this post.... this only dual sprint? Also mean need autority card etc? I just have normal membership card (MCC).. so i can't entry? plus no cage at all...
will be great if can enter.. even just single sprint or something..
cheers
Leon wrote:If you have a cage, it needs to be homologated, and you will need a logbook. But this is the same for every MotorSport permitted event anyway. So no different to a single car sprint. No cage required at either single or dual car sprints.
Only difference between single and dual car sprint is Clubsport licence requirement. $55 / year.
Hope this clears a few things up, sounds like you've been given some bad information somewhere along the lines.

There is a Lester Multi Event Weekend on the 28 and 29 Jan.
Who do I contact for the MCC sprint on 22nd? I'll be keen since I can't enter dual sprint for the day before. I believe there will be a few other will be keen too for the sprint..![]()
Cheers for letting me know!

Yep the multi event is on the 28th and 29th. I am so there for that, just gonna need some volunteers to help me remove my front bumper for the autocross....... dont wanna smash that puppy up
fangsport wrote:Leon, as our official representative from MSNZ, would it be possible for you to create a thorough breakdown of requirements that can be stickied an FAQ'ed for future reference. i know certain clubs have their own rules as to closed road events without cages, but as a general rule, the clubsport basic events are the same, as are the track based sprints/tarmac autocrosses.
