well barring miracles, I won't have a suitable car to compete in for this event for the second year running [grumble]

So I'll be up there timing for the day. I think we should probably do some car pooling for this one ... who's keen to head up and back on the day, and combine some cars?

I currently have a two seat car, but might have something else by then. Also, can borrow the EE90 off the other half if required seats are > 2

Can never say with total confidence, as it is after all a motor sport event ... normally we're wrapped up by around four, or half four.

Why you no enter Guru?

I'm available to help. I was intending to go up and watch anyway. Just let me know when to be there... and given my memory of late, I may require a reminder.

What the ... seriously, Pete, Aaron ... how come you're not entered? It's cheaper than 2/3rds of the non MSNZ permitted track days you've been doing, and it actually has a full compliment of marshalls and safety crews etc.

Marshalls want to be there half nine at the latest (Pete).

Even though you didn't ask, I will be 'out there' on the track. 'Out there' could, in fact, mean visiting the infield, again. :?

Rumour has it that my car is 'No. 1' - but only because my application was the first to be accepted. 8)

I'm guessing you're taking Albaru, rather than the Rolls?

I'm not really a track racer. I have been trying to do all of the tracks at least once when I can, but I have only been going back to Manfield when I change something on the car, to see how much faster the car is.
Maybe if I get another car I will try Manfield again.

Can't afford it while looking for a flat at the moment. Plus that and had to do a couple of repairs which do chip away.

bugger that's a shame, because it looks there's going to be sweet fa entries, which means everyone gets about a thousand runs.

Yeah. I don't have any semi-slicks for the Rolls - and the wing mirrors just slow it down.
