For what its worth I have reached the limit of people I can guarantee runs anyway sorry, though showing up on the day may still get people a chance as people often pull out.

Bad news sorry guys, I have just been contacted by Richard at Chequered Flag saying he can no longer do dyno days and has to pull out of this one - I'm not sure if I will be able to come up with an alternative at this kind of notice.

Many apologies!

Indeed, again sorry :( Its potentially the end of an era, there have been many a car club dyno day at Chequered Flag over the last decade or so.

Lesbian!!

Not your fault though, cheers for going through the effort anyway.

Any other details re: "end of an era"? Is it not viable to run these sorts of things anymore?

He sortof gave that impression but I'm not 100% sure. The Email I got from him was:

Hi Daniel,
unfortunatey we will not be able to have any more dyno days. Therefore I will have to cancel the dyno day on Feb 7.

Cheers
Richard

That's odd. Would suggest either residents have thrown toys out of cot because of noise on weekends, dyno is no longer there for whatever reason, or that aliens have invaded.

Hahahaha, on that kind of note the only "drama" we've ever had at a dyno day I have organised there was when a 12A in a Chevron did itself in

Why don't you see if you can do something with Andre at Speed-Tech or even try ringing Richard at Maclennon Performance Centre I reckon one of those two might be able to do something for you guys.

Yep, that was the point of the photo ;) That is said rotary that died on the dyno, the guy told Richard to take it to 12,000rpm and despite our protests insisted that they are built to take it. We lol'd.
