leave the back seats in, not worth the hassle for the event!
alos that then makes the battery in the passenger compartment!

Not exactly a hassle as they've been made (or broken) to be taken out for racing easily. But if it means I can't race if I do then sure I'll just leave em in, no biggie.

100% correct.

If the battery isn't in the same place as the driver (ie: is seperated) then the battery merely has to be "secure". But if you've got the battery in the cabin area space (ie: is not seperated) then the rules of motor sport say you need big bolts x 4, under floor plates, sealed battery boxes, ventilation to the outside of the car etc.

But, if you leave the rear seats in, then I can help make your life easier on Sunday.

By the way, what's your real life first name, so I know who the heck you are on Sunday :)

So that would appear to be:

From the main road from Porirua to Titahi Bay: Turn left at Lyttelton Ave, and keep going straight ahead when Lyttelton Ave meets Heriot Drive.

Or am I as confused as I feel from having seen that map.

Yep, and go straight ahead at that intersection (i.e. cross Heriot drive)

Correct Leon, the left at Lyttelton Ave will be at a set of lights (free turn), then its straight ahead past the old guards house to the final left & your destination.

If you know how to get to Bunnings then you are sweet. The event is being held on the tarmac section directly behind Bunnings in the old Todd Park grounds

I've been there to have a look around once, but had in my brain a slightly different location in relation to bunnings. Oh well, that's saved me five minutes driving in circles on Sunday morning.

Roll on Sunday!!!

Neil (Gonzo) you probably want to buy a CD of photo's off Geoff. I got a motor drive sequence of you over hand brake turning, and ending up parked on a cone I think :)

Was a great day, copped a bit of burn from the sun & wind though!

Thanks Neil for taking Leela out for a spin and getting her hooked ;) She really enjoyed herself. Good to see the venue held up pretty well too.
