From memory, the quickest nzv8 time at Manfeild is just under 1.13, so anything with doors that can do a 1.11 is f'n fast.

How many entries were there in the time attack? Any other good times?

As 2jzgte alluded to in an above post, I find it absurd that they would run drifting and time attack on the same day without cleaning the track of marbles.

The last time I went to a playday on track at Manfeild, there had been a drifting event the day before, hence the track was an absolute mess and the amount of pick up I was getting on the slicks was seriously affecting my grip levels. It wasnt until the last runs of the day that I began to be able to push it somewhat but still very poor compared to a clean track.

Trouble being, the target audience are by the large flatpeakers, and drifting attracts them

I completely understand the decison to include drifting, but why bother including TA if its on a track that doesnt lend itself to putting down good times? At the same time, its odd that drivers would bother entering when the chance of beating their own PB's is nil.

I doubt the event would even have had one less flatpeaker in the crowd if they didnt have the TA lol

Totally, I doubt the majority gave a toss about non-drifting

Nzv8s have done 11s around the track just not in race format. Did not see Scott k there nor in the car. The man at the link ecu stand was very helpful and may get him to tune my race car when it's ready.
