Leon - I have taken a better look and unless you know the actual URL location of the pic on the data base then there is no easy way to link to it, i.e. insert it in a post. I was planing on uploading these to my PB account tonight anyway as I was having timeout issues last night. Once there I will send you the URL if you like and you can steal pics all day long 8)

Yep, that's the picture I wanted ... and what showed up when I hit the link myself. Though one never can tell from the caching.

Gravel flying towards camera from the back of an Escort was the plan, as per the one Blair then showed.

Mean!!! That Hayabusa motor induction noise! I want 1!!!!!!!!!!! :P
Wanted to go and watch but have D1NZ R5 at Taupo on tha same day. Saw a few rally cars( DX, white AE86?, few evos and Subbie) on trailer when I drove from Palmy to Taupo on Friday and also on the way back to palmy on Sunday.

What sort of price those Hayabusa motor go for? And what gearbox that KP got?

Pass on the price.....on the gearbox front apparently its got the g/box from the bike and is sequential...dont quote me on that though

Yup, just uses the motor and box from a Hayabusa. Cost isnt the big factor, its actually finding one...he got that from overseas 8O

Oversea.. as in...? Japan? or other countries?... not too sure if the engine and box like the abuse from rally or drifting as there is alot of on off trottles... the clutch look abit small and car will be alot heavier than a bike...

Thats what the guy who built it was worried about, but they are the most commonly used drag bike around, and there are several 500+hp turbo Hayabusa's getting around, so the gearboxes must be fairly tough.
Multiplate clutch as stock anyway ;) plus heaps of aftermarket stuff available.
Not sure where he got it from, but Japan might be the easiest place to get one.

(You can hear blairs camera taking pictures like mad in the background of the first one)

I have video's of almost all the cars, and will host requested ones for a period of time, but unfortunately we don't have a huge amount of bandwidth to use at the moment, so I can't host them all.

Can you host one of car 57, the datsun sunny for me please. Some people i know in there :) If you can't remember here's a link to a picture http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubima ... &selected=
