That was some wicked fun.

Thanks John!

Well done Tara my team mate, good drive ... much cleaner than my effort where I got hooked on the back of Revheads kart and speared into the tyres, then just plain old speared into the tyres all by myself later on.

Im noticing a trend here, mine and Warwicks front tires got hooked together... now that was interesting to deal with coming onto the front straight :o

Yea , good fun , thanks for organising it , it appears that the transponders were a bit doggy and not counting every lap .

Toy_baru , your joints are probablly stiff from the drive TO the karting lol

Classic moment when Pete had it pointed out he was still wearing his bib at burgerfuel

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

yeah something was definitely up on that front, Al & I had to change karts (I killed one   ) we were passed by everyone at least 4 or 5 times, yet only were down like 2 laps at the end & there is no way we lapped the whole field 2 or 3 times

Yeah, thanks John!! Awesome fun!!

I'm glad that Nat and I aren't the only ones that think the timing was messed up!

Neither of us crashed or spun out at all, during our entire time out there and we were very acurate in couting all of our laps (we are girls after all), we were pitting in sync with everyone else, so it's very strange that we were 11 laps down at the end!!! 8O

Still had fun! Really need to get a bit more agressive though - just don't really like the idea of crashing, so I had to keep buttoning off the gas to avoid carnage! GRR

Thanks for organising that John... neat fun.
Yep, the official lap counting was definitly not working, so we don't really have a winner... maybe the official winners were the ones that went over the start line the slowest giving the transponder time to do its thing

BTW I did return the bib this morning.

I didn't have the problem.

Probably how we came in second rather than first ;) People getting past me while I was parked in various tyre walls.

Pfffft as if... we never crashed or wen't into the tyres in the entire race, and I was only passed by 1 or 2 cars I think. Some people just can't accept losing to a midget :P

Working it out last night it turns out we ended up doing atleast 3 extra laps anyways haha :D

Cheers John for a great event!

hey my lapkeeping was perfect, it's my teammate driving with his blinders on when I'm holding out the last lap sign that's the problem

At the end of the day the results say that we won, So I'm going to bask in the glory as us fat people don't get much oppertunity when it comes to go-karts!!

Big ups to Jonny boy for the awesome night, And a special mention goes to Leeaaarrr the fastest pirate on 4 wheels for impressing me with her driving skills 8O
