SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
(1) JURISDICTION
Promoted by Hutt Valley Motorsport Club. Held under the provisions of the National Sporting Code of Motorsport NZ and these Supplementary Regulations.

(2) PERMIT:
Motorsport NZ Clubsport Basic. Permit number T.B.A.
(3) OFFICIALS:
CLERKS OF COURSE Geoff Warren – 021 515 642
SCRUTINEER tbc

(4) VENUE/TIME:
Todd Motors Car Park, Porirua
Surface is sealed but has a layer of gravel on top.
Gather from 8:30 am for Documentation and Scrutineering. Drivers briefing 9:30 am.

(5) DIRECTIONS:
Turn off SH1 at the main Porirua overbridge. Take 2nd exit from Roundabout to follow Titahi Bay Road.
Take 2nd Left and follow road past guard hut. Car park is on your left at the top of the road before the security gate.

(6) ENTRIES, FEES
$20, on the day

(7) CANCELLATION:
Extreme weather may force the cancellation of the event. Every effort will be made to go ahead.

(8) PROGRAMME:
(a) Documentation and auditing will take place at the event from 8.30am.
(b) Drivers briefing will be held at approximately 9.30am
(c) Untimed practice, followed by three timed runs that count towards your results.

(9) RESULTS:
(a) Displacement of a cone will result in a 5 second penalty per cone
(b) Failing to complete the course correctly will result in the competitor being awarded the slowest time of the day, plus five seconds
(c) Results will be e-mailed, unless specifically requested otherwise
(d) The classes are Engine Over Driving Wheels, Engine Not Over Driving Wheels, and Four Wheel Drive.

(10) FURTHER INFORMATION:
(a) No slick tires.
(b) Open cars without Roll Protection by application to Clerk of Course (as per Schedule A)
(c) Any vehicle wishing to carry a passenger must be fitted with a roll cage, full harness belts, and suitable seating, as per Schedule A Safety, and Schedule C Clubsport regulations. The vehicle must be approved by the Clerk of the Course.
(d) All driving outside the venue must be of the highest standard, as should we incur the wrath of the locals we may lose the venue.

Is this that really large gravel patch up by the warehouses of Harvey Norman and the like? I've always thought that a good area.. wasn't sure who owned it though.

didn't they build a $330K multi surface track up at the police college for that? I recall seeing something on the news about it a while back but never caught the full article

Lol it's more of a BMX track (minus the jumps) that they spray down with water.

Doesn't need wof and reg if you trailer it there.

Don't drive it there, because there may very well be members of the law enforcement community present, and getting yourself ticketed outside the venue brings our entire event into disrepute.

Have been through the same thing in Upper Hutt previously.
