Harbour Capital Car Club invites you to come play in the paddock.

Donnelly Park, Levin

Directions: Left at second set of traffic lights in Levin, then keep on keeping on until the road narrows dramatically, and you see Adkin Ave in your left (also huge Donnelly Park sign). Donnelly park is on the right hand side of Adkin Ave, and you will see us in the paddock past the playing fields.

Required:
Motorsport NZ Car Club Membership (unless this is your first or second event ever)
$20 (or more, if you really feel like it), Helmet and Overalls (no Polycotton!!).
The willingness to chuck your car around a paddock and have a lot of fun.

No rally tires allowed, to respect the venue. Mud and Snow tires at the discretion of the clerk of the course (in other words, bald mud and snows are ok, otherwise no).

All playing to be done within the confines of the paddock. Absolutely no silly buggers will be tolerated outside the venue. We will call the police, and we will make sure anyone doing anything stupid outside the venue is talking to a member of the law enforcement community. It hasn't happened yet, but it only takes the once for us to lose the venue and the help of the Levin council

The venue is fairly road car friendly, but be prepared for some bumps and bouncing.

Awesome way to learn some car control, and dip your toes in the water. Friendly atmosphere, and drive as fast or as slow as you want.

If you want to get out in the passenger seat of one of our caged cars, we will do our utmost to get you out there for a ride. Minimum age 12, and those under 18 *must* have an underage indemnity signed by their guardian. If we can’t get safety gear to fit you, then unfortunately we won’t be able to put you out there.

If it’s very wet in Levin, we will get rained off.

Just turn up by 10:30 if you want to race.

Or just turn up any time if you want to watch, or get taken for a ride in one of the caged car.

what you mean your modified one vs my standard one? Every race i had with you I had a better time, just my reactions were shit due to the fact that you had done more dragging im guessing, So point to point my car was faster every time :P

Jeremy, I hope you have a spare car, as your trueno wont last a gravel autocross in one piece, have you actually seen the conditions of the track at one, you need the ride height from nam, and preferably under body protection, you'd be better off taking it to Levin on grass

Ahem 14.7 point to point is quicker than you ever did, same day drags meremere toyota v honda drags i was doing 14.8's and 9's and you only did a 15.x best as far as i remember so best be revising point to point statement :P

grass could be fun tho, i am able to reduce power down to around 190-200hp atw with the touch of a button , and with a working lsd that makes it nearly usable. i got out of the muddy carpark/bog at MMP better than some so called 4wd's anyway

Very fun event... luckily the rain held off and it turned into a really good day.

Learned a lot with the car and hopefully will be a lot more competitive in the next event :)
