whos a good engine builder?

Postby gasman » Tue Nov 13, 2007 10:43 pm

im looking for an engine builder in the wellington area that had a good track record with 4age engines. i need to get my 4agze bottom end mated to my 20v head with everything checked. does speedtech do the building in house or do they out source the work?

get a 4agze bottom end checked and rehoned and then rebuilt with new bearings and rings supplied then bolt that up to a 20v head. how much to rebore the clyinders to fit oversized pistons since toyota nz done have any standard sized rings for another 3 weeks but have over sized pistons and rings in stock. if its not too much to get it rebored then ill just go oversized.

get it oversized man, should only be another 150 max, then you got a tight engine

lol,
cam this is engine u rebuilt for matt spicer last year, im guessing? fx gtze

gasman, that engine was only rebuilt this time last year, with 2 new pistons and rings, etc i think ask cam if its the 1 out of white with blue pearl fx gtze

i would just get the head checked.

speedtech wouldn't do all the work, eg, machining
