Ok now that I have your attention I need someone who knows what they are doing and yes there could be alco or whatever for whoever helps me out.

This is the problem... Computer + PS3 + Laptops + Wireless router + not to sure how to setup wireless security + cable internet = Im not to sure how to get all working.

Ok.. Got my computer back yesterday thanks to Andrew (Distrb) and The nets always been working on the PS3 but now wen I hook my computer up to the router it doesnt seem to want to work. But if I unplug the net from the router and plug straight into comp it works fine.
Also the router is wireless and Im not really to sure how to "protect" it which I really need Im pretty sure.

So if someone out there knows how to set it all up for me. Would profer someone I know or someone who knows Andrew (Distrb) as not really to keen on complete randoms in our house.
I will supply alco for whoever does it or coin if thats what your after.

Same issues I had by the sound of it. Is it d-link gear? I got fed up trying to fix it so just left my computer direct wired. Sucks.

Hey not too sure but I know the router is called TP-Link?? Hope this helps.

Sounds like you have your computer's network card setup manually for the cable (aswell as the router)

Go to the properties for your network connection (right-click on 'My network locations' > properties)
Then find the bit that says TCP/IP and select > properties.

If it has a bunch of numbers it is setup for your cable, you need to set this to auto (should be two sets there, auto for both)
Might be a good idea to write down all the numbers first though, just incase
