High mounted stop light (3rd brake light) required for WOF??

Is a high mounted stop light (3rd brake light) required for a WOF in a 1992 car? I can't see any sign of there being one previously, but the last owner may have just removed it after the last WOF also....

If it is required can anyone suggest somewhere in Wellington I could get one wired up - preferably CHEAP.... I really can't afford it at all but if I need it for a WOF I guess it has to be done...

If you want it cheap then doing it yourself is the best option. A light that sticks on the inside of the window can be bought from Repco/Supercheap.
I put one in one of my cars a number of years ago, it's an easy job.

Yeah I've got the light, I'm not sure if the wire is long enough but that's not a big deal...

I'm just not really sure what I'm doing when it comes to wiring up the light... I'm not sure I even know where I'd start!

Is it a WOF requirement??

Found the old spoiler brake light wiring. So I hooked up the light there using a plug / connector I'd grabbed at pick-a-part last time I was there...
