Car cleaning in Welly?

Hi guys, currently in Wellington, anyone know of any self-clean car wash places near the city where I can waterblast etc? Cheers.

Yeah, nar not exactly. But we get people in their cars at all hours, using the fire hose to wash their cars, down at the sheds in Eastern Hutt Rd.

I don't know of any self wash places around here...could be a good opportunity for someone.

Thanks anyway chaps, sorted. Absolutely could be a money-maker for someone.. didn't want to scratch the car up in a servo carwash, always prefer doing it myself! On a funny side note, was fuelling up at the Z in the middle of town, heard a crunch and a bang and a sheepish-looking blonde woman backed her late-model Volvo wagon with a luggage box on top out of the carwash.. I don't think she thought about what the horizontal brush was going to do once it got to the top of the roof/bottom of the box! Backed all the way out onto the street, left the carwash running and took off. Nice work!

I've used the car wash at Caltex on Adelaide Rd nothing touches the car anymore like the older type car wshes and it does a decent job of cleaning,so the issue of getting your car scratched up is not an issue anymore.
