Friend in search of first car

hey guys and gals

my mate is looking for a first car.
the critea is

-less than 3g
-be economical
-has warrant
-has rego
-be in a semi decent condition, as he knows nothing about cars and doesnt want to always fix it

thats pretty much it, hes not too concerned with speed or looks. as it will just be a car to go for A to B. the most important thing is it has to be reliable.

does anyone have or know of any cars that will be suitable for my friend??

Only negative is the clutch is a bitch to drive with, being brass. Tidy as, flew through last wof, uses feck all gas! Costs me $250 for 3rd party, $450 for full insurance, and I've got a shit driving record too..
