Install them, fill your tank with petrol, put fuel injector cleaner in tank, thrash your car for that tank and your injectors will magically be cleaned :P

Have you got an aftermarket ECU ?

I think NZEFI do injector clean and test, could re-tune it as well ;)

Are you sure an evo ecu will run on a gsr motor?
And even if it ran it, its 200cc smaller, so will over fuel it etc etc

my dad (lichfield motors) has a machine for flushing injectors, they need to be installed first, did it on the levin and could feel a difference

Yeah it's a common as conversion, get the Evo injectors, AFM, ECU, Fuel pump and turbo, all straight bolt up apart from the down pipe of the turbo (easy fix) and your away laughing!!!

Runs on airflow signal, so the capacity makes no difference.

Don't just assume it will work 100% though, a few people have had issues with them starting to detonate for no apparent reason. Plus the 1800 is a horrible horrible little bastard to begin with and all deserve to DIE

Yeah I'm going to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and guage and what not...
It's going to do untill i can afford to get a 4G63 block and head to drop in, only need the bare block as I got most of the bolt on parts at home.

No, and No.

They have wee micro filters in the top of them to catch the dirt and stuff.
How do you expect it to come out unless you reverse flush them?

We do them at work.
Flow test them first on open flow and pulsed flow (to check closing spring operation)
then 1 hr in the ultrasonic cleaner,
then flow test fluid through them in the reverse direction to flush the krap out of them.
Then re-test them again on open flow and pulsed flow.
