Find a farmer.. give him 100 bucks to "pop a skid" on a paddock before he plows it?

There are no other places you can do this legally, even if it was your back yard someone could still call the police, said police would fine you for "causing annoyance".

I'd say you could use my place but last time we ripped it up we dug up a lot of massive rocks so it's probably a bad idea.

Ummm. Yes it is man. Thats why the public are allowed to use it.

Thats why police patrol it.

Thats why you can be fined just the same as on the road.

Second to last time I was down there, there were two cops busting people.

Just drive 30kms along and you should be sweet as. 8)

I sugest you get your facts straight, it is a public road. You can be prosectuted for any road rule violation at the Waimak river. The only place that cannot be deemed a legal public road is private property.

not quite..... the defines a public road as anywhere the public can drive weather they are allowed to or not. so unless its gated etc thens you can be done. so yes theoriticly you can be done for speeding in your own driveway.

and get done for unlicenced driving in a truck yard.

Houses are diferent, they do not need a gate to be classed as private proterty (non public access), our yard at work is public access, we can theoretically be given a ticket etc for driving INSIDE our workshop without a licence! (unless we have doors closed, or chains stating no access)

The Waimak road is becoming a public road, or as a cop told me. But he was so annoyed he couldnt do me for passengers. I so laughed in his face!!
