General Press Release Round 1 Powerbuilt raceway Ruapuna, March 4th

The anticipation can be sensed in the air. Drifters are checking their engines and polishing up their paint jobs.

Round 1 of the 2006 D1NZ Championship season will jump start the season on March 4th at the Powerbuilt Raceway in Ruapuna. Special Guest MC Ketzal Sterling from High Octane DVD’s will commentate on the action of the day as the spectators witness some of New Zealand’s finest talent smoke up the track with forceful determination.

Lunch time entertainment will bring in the Bling Bling Bikini Car Wash where spectators can watch the mischievous Nitro girls get wet, while rinsing down a car that you’ll wish was yours.

Then the final 16 will continue to battle it out into twilight hours, in an astounding display of speed and skill that will leave you thirsty for more.

• Gates open to the public at 10am – 8:30pm.
• A-Reserve Seating on Stand $30
• General Admission $15
• Children 5 – 15 years $5 when accompanied by a paying adult.
