I want a buggered engine!

Postby ollieboy » Sun Mar 19, 2006 11:47 pm

If anyone has a buggered engine(not in the literal term) that they wouldn't mind giving to me could I have it:D.

I tried at a few dumps, car dumps etc but they wanted $250 for an engine that didn't go. :(

So if anyone has one PM me please and I will come pick it up.

Cheers

Check the Buy Sell, in the free section. Every wek there are cars free to take away. Most have motors. (ok, it does mean you have a wreck sitting round though)

Theres usually a 2k or even a 3au on trademe for $10.

Try get a 4afe, you'll learn more taking that apart. But they're usually at least $80 - $100

sooo, Ollie, what are you hoping to acheive with this engine??

if it is to learn basic mechanical skills, get an engine that will be a benifit to you....maybe like a 4K?

if it is to do an engine blow, a 4K would be a laugh as they seemingly last for ages with no fluids. if you need a boat anchor, any Mitsi, Mazda or Honda engine would suffice, the best place for them is the bottom of the sea.

I just want one to have a look at to see what bits connect to what, that sort of thing.

hehe, Ive owned a mitsi and Honda engine and agree with what you are saying there.
